The flags are limp
The sky is blue
I'm at work now
lamenting the view

But there is day's end
so hope is not lost
But my grass is calling
cut it I must, whatever the cost

The weekend approaches
so fly! I will go forth!
Then my spouse says "It's a long weekend,
let's go up North!"

My flights you will judge
at the NATS all too soon
Let's pray things work out
