Ok, I can see that. He did say it was happening with all his receivers, though. I'm not familiar with the 12FG, but is there not a boot-up time for the transmitter processor as well?
I still say that a regulator would have nothing to do with the problem, when the receiver is already on and then the transmitter is turned on.
I'll have to check mine out when I get a chance.
I do agree that it is not a problem, regardless. (Unless, of course, you lost a bet because of it.) :-)

Let me try this one more time. Many of the Futaba FASST receivers had a delay, regardless of if the TX or RX was turned on first, before the two synched up. The most recent releases (6008HS, etc.) seem to have no delay or an almost unnoticeable short delay. Some still do, but have gotten better. It has to do 100% with the receiver. It is a very short delay and is not cause for concern.
