[NSRCA-discussion] Kavan starter issues

What's wrong with my starter?

A Kavan planetary geared starter all of a sudden (yesterday it worked, today
it doesn't) stopped working. Replacement of the barely worn brushes had no
effect. It's been operating on 14V it's entire life with no signs of
fatigue.
