<div>What&#39;s wrong with my starter?</div>

<div>A&nbsp;Kavan planetary geared starter all of a sudden (yesterday it worked, today it doesn&#39;t) stopped working. Replacement of the barely worn brushes had no effect. It&#39;s been operating on 14V it&#39;s entire life with no signs of fatigue.</div>
