[NSRCA-discussion] Servo Selection - JR 821's or 4131's

For precision the 4131 is a better servo than the 821.

Yes the 821 is digital and it's a good servo but it's not as smooth and
precise as a 4131.

4721 is a good rudder servo. I would put it on rudder instead of a
4131...not that the 4131 is a bad rudder choice but the 4721 is a better
one.

AIL and elevators on 4131's if you got them. And 4721 on rudder. 821 on
the throttle.

My suggestions

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Servo Selection - JR 821's or 4131's

I'm fixing up an old Desire and don't want to invest in new servos at
this time. I have sitting new in the box, both JR 4131's and 821's. So,
I'm wondering what people's thoughts are about using old technology
4131's for the ailerons and elevator or new, value digital 821's? I have
a 4721 for the elevator. There is enough room to mount the deeper 821's,
so that isn't an issue.

Thanks,

Mark
