[NSRCA-discussion] JR 9303 mode 2 to mode 4

JR has a multitude of programs that will change configurations. Tony Stillman has changed the throttle stick direction for me. I believe he casually mentioned to me that it was possible to change mode the same way, through "sneak programs." (If I had changed only the servo direction, the throttle trim would only have worked in high speed--useless.) It is worth a call to him to avoid the frustration of being the Lone Ranger on this, even if you do have the help of a multitude of Tontos.

From what Iunderstand, JR service does no physically alter the X-9303s. It appears to be a software change, but they insist THEY do it. On the PCM 10X, a couple of us have code to make the change. However, that stuff is not available for the 9303. It cost my fried NOTHING for JR to make the change, but he had to send it in for them to do it. We were at the field yesterday, practicing, but we forgot to try the Mode 4/Mode 1 buddy box system. We will do it tomorrow - Saturday -- for sure.

It seems to be so obvious that it's the way to go. I am disappointed that the JR have to be physically modified to do it, and I have been flying JR for 10 years. I think that it may well encourage my friend to get the Futaba 10ch unstead of the 9303.
I believe the 12X could be programmed for mode change.
