Hi all.
Most of you are more computer-savvy than I and can ignore this.
A few years ago it seamed easier to isolate 'good mail' rather than deal
with a large quantity of incoming garbage so I setup a few rules to move
'wanted mail' from specific senders or by subject content to subfolders.
Most of the garbage mail is eliminated upstream now.
The inbox tends to be a catchall for family and junk mail which my wife
monitors moving any mail addressed to me to a subfolder. When I subscribed
to the NSRCA discussion list I setup a rule (see attachment) in outlook to
automatically move list related mail when it comes in. This has worked very
well and the folder list displays the count of unread mail making it real
easy to monitor the folder for 'new mail'.
For what it is worth.
