[NSRCA-discussion] Art Wagner

I was in the age of the "slider rule". Purchased my first TI 6 function
calculator once I was working. But in engineering school it was the well
lubricated slide rule-made for speed.

I was also in Electrical Engineering during the slide rule to calculator
transition. Saved up for months to buy a TI-58 calculator. It was
"programmable", great for doing repeated calculations.

I was in the generation that changed from slider rule to HP-35. That was a
huge change in the engineering school. The tests were redesigned to account
for the time savings when using calculators. Very good memories. That was
early 70's.

Only smart people use slider rule.

Art does not own a computer. He uses a slider
rule.
