Jeff

There is no exact reason or advantage, it depends on the available cel size
from the manufacturer. Most likely you use the 2P to increase the mah of
the pack. In the case of a 10S 2P if it is a 5000 mah you are looking at
2500 mah sets as a 10S 1P put them together in parallel and makes 5000. the
C rating is not increased, it changes per battery type, ProLites, Extremes
V2, EVOS etc.. each has different C ratings. As an example you can buy a 6S
1P 4000 mah or two 3S 1P 4000 in series gives you the same result. Four 3S
1P 2100 mah 2 in series gives you the 6S 2100 mah and the other set in
parallel will give you 4200 mah and now it becomes 6S 2P
