I agree 100%.

Of course it would.. Any information that in real time is attached to the model or has feedback to the pilot is not allowed.

In the screen the pilot is getting altitude and heading information. I am sure that much more is coming like speed, wing position, etc. I am wondering is that information could be considered "electronic information from the model to ground".

It is still open loop – not feedback in the classic control theory sense. The pilot is in the loop at all times.

Interpretation. However, it is clear that there is a electronic feedback from the model to the pilot using the pilot cam. My vote is that won't be allowed.

Wonder if it falls in this section...

longer than two (2) meters (78.74 inches).
4.4. Equipment Functions. Radio
control equipment shall be of the open loop type
(i.e. no electronic feedback from the model to the
ground). Auto pilot control utilizing inertia,
light, gravity, or any other type of terrestrial
reference is prohibited. Automatic control
sequencing (preprogramming) or automatic
control timing devices are prohibited.
Examples of control functions permitted:

Will this be legal for pattern?
