[NSRCA-discussion] Hyde mounts + nose rings

Has anyone done a weight comparison between a Hyde mount with integrated nose ring vs. the type that requires a separate nose ring? I know the mount that requires a separate nose ring is lighter, but by the time you're finished adding the structure to support the nose ring and then installing one of those nose ring brackets, how much weight do you really save? I've been using the mounts with integrated nose rings but I'm getting ready to build a new airplane so if there's a significant weight advantage, I might be interested in trying a different mount this time.
