John and all,

OK, I took a machinists square and put it on my workbench, put the inclinometer on the square on the bench and zero'd it. I then put the meter on the vertical arm and it read 90.0 back to horizontial and it read 0.1 back to vertical = 90.1 back to horizontal = 0.1 So as advertised, the device seems accurate and precise to +/- 0.1 degrees. Rotating mine front to back gives similar accuracy - your case may not be quite square, John.

I just got mine.
What does yours show when you rotate it 180 degrees?
In other words you are reading it from the right side of the plane and you turn it to read from the left side.
Just turning the Wixey device, nothing else.
Mine shows a .5 degree difference.
