Jim,
Thanks for the ideas!
I just got it and I'm in the process of "proving" it.
Lots to learn and experiment with.
It's what makes all this fun!

If your level read .25 degrees and you zero'd it, I would expect to see .5 when you turned it 180. If it read .25 and you didn't zero it, it should read .25 in the other direction.
Find something or make something exactly level and repeat the test and report back. it sounds like a great deal.

I just got mine. What does yours show when you rotate it 180 degrees? In other words you are reading it from the right side of the plane and you turn it to read from the left side.Just turning the Wixey device, nothing else.Mine shows a .5 degree difference.JLK> Date: Thu, 3 Jul 2008 09:19:35 -0500> From: glmiller3 at suddenlink.net> To: nsrca-discussion at lists.nsrca.org> Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Incidence Meter> > Here is a link to my post on RCU regarding the adaptation of the Wixey Inclinometer for use as an incidence meter.> > > http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7689336/tm.htm> > Great little doo dad for 40 bucks!> > G> _______________________________________________> NSRCA-discussion mailing list> NSRCA-discussion at lists.nsrca.org> http://lists.nsrca.org/mailman/listinfo/nsrca-discussion_______________________________________________NSRCA-discussion mailing listNSRCA-discussion at lists.nsrca.orghttp://lists.nsrca.org/mailman/listinfo/nsrca-discussion
