Thanks Earl. I couldn't decide how far to go with my description of the best
balancer available todate, IMHO <G>
I started out with a pair of used Astro 109's and used Flight Power
batteries. Because of that introduction to Flight Power I purchased the
v-balancer since a pair of them was the same price as 1 of the TP210's .
After getting them and using them I've not regretted it. I was told they
might not "control" the Astro because of how it pulsecharges but it does.
Hook everything up and nothing begins until you push the LINK button on the
balancer.

The FlightPower V-Balancer has the advantage of not being charger specific
as Eddie states. However, it has an internal "switch" that will disconnect
the charger from the battery if things go wrong - a very desirable feature.
Also - a pair can be connected to handle 10S and 12S packs.
