I'm going to set up a NSRCA table at our club's swap meet this Sunday. I hope to pick up some interested pilots. The swap
meet has become really successful. Derek and Jim have given me a lot of good advice and ideas. I plan to have various handouts,
a simulator with a pattern plane, etc. I would like to have my Focus on display but would like to have it back from the table out of harm's way. The swap meet is held in a large airport hangar so there is now way I can hang it from the ceiling or a wall. I thought about using the wing tube cradle I have as part of a rack I use in the back of the wife's SUV when I haul the plane to contests. This cradle is mounted to a 1 x 6 plank. I thought I could attach the plank to a sturdy camera tripod but looking at it I don't know...
Anyone have any ideas? I really would like to keep the plane back from the table.
Thanks!
JLK
