Hi Mark..
I got it directly from Diversified Solutions.
http://klasskote.com/paint_store.html
The primer to get is #55 part A.
Use the 'white fast' #420 part B.
There is no need to get the reducer from them..you can get bulk lacquer
thinner from a local paint store. I used the cheapest brand I could find.
I use it to clean the spray equipment after shooting the Concept too.

Hey Dave,
Where do you get it?? I've been a fan of the PPG K-2 Primer, similar to
the K-36 but instead of grey it's an offwhite, almost light yellow
primer...but white would be even better.

I like Klass Kote white epoxy primer.
Its fuel proof and sands like old K&B primer.
I've used it a couple of times under PPG Concept..works great.

Ive used the Century 21 white primer in a spray can on fiberglass, the paint
on Vivats,
and aluminum landing gear, and PPG on top. Works fine.

Assuming I want to use white primer and PPG paint, what kind/brand of primer
should I be using?

The PPG paint doe not really have a shelf life, and I have used some that
was several years old with no problems. The items that DO have a life are
the activator (DUs) and to some extent the reducers (DTs) The test for the
activator is if it is still clear and fluid, us it. If it has yellowed
and/or gelled, toss it! The reducers should really last a long time,
provided they are kept air-tight.

I have some PPG paint I bought from my local PPG paint store a couple of
years ago. Before using it, I wonder if there's a recommended "use by" on
any of the paint elements.

Go to the PPG web site www.ppg.com <http://www.ppg.com/>

paints. That's where I've always bought all my supplies. You won't be able
to get as small a supply of colors, but getting pints or quarts of catalyst
or reducer usually isn't a problem.

Hey Guys,
I just called Radio South to order some catalyst for some Concept paint that
I have left from the last paint project I conducted
and was informed that they no longer carry the line.
I have quite a bit of color stock and would like to not have to jettison the
lot. Anybody know of a compatible catalyst that will work?
TIA,
G.
