Absolutely the EMC - by far the biggest plane for it's time, and uncanny (to
say the least) just how closely critical dimensions matched subsequent Euro
"guppies".
Elan also needs to be mentioned - the super long tail moment set a new
standard for groove in pitch.

Hanson's EMC2, the first true production "guppy". Still have one that I
haven't flown since June this year and still have a kit.

BTW, I do know that the Typhoon stuff was Ron Chidgey. He and Hanson had
some good stuff at the beginning of turnaround.
