[NSRCA-discussion] Kavan starter with Li-Po battery

Adrian, give the folks at B & P a call. I ordered a LiPo pack from them a
couple of weeks ago for my B & P starter and they told me something about a
problem with the Kavan starters using LiPo. Don't remember the details as
mine is not the Kavan.

Why the preference of Kavan (284 in-oz at 12 V) vs the Sullivan Hi-tork
starter (210 in-oz at 12V) or the Sullivan Dynatron (340 in-oz at 12V or a
lot more at 24V)?  I am asking since my Sullivan Hi-tork looks like it
finally is done for after 20+ years of service starting everything up to the
160DZ.  I need to replace it soon.....
