The HHR is kinda narrow. My 2004 Chevy Malibu Maxx (30 mpg highway)is actually roomier than the HHR. I know Ron Lockhart has a Scion tC? and he can carry a 2M plane in it.

Hi Guys,
I commute about 75 miles a day, then do about 100 miles of driving a weekend for practice so I am on the road a lot. I am thinking to down sizing one of my cars. At this point, I’m thinking about these three:
Scion XB, 28, hwy mileage
Honda Fit, 34, hwy mileage
Chevy HHR, 30 , hwy mileage
$ these around $16,000
Here is a nice website that allows you to do car by car comparisons. http://scionbuyersguide.theautochannel.com/compare_details.php?car1=21667&car2=22687&car3=22711&car4=
OR – is something like the Dodge Grand Caravan the way do go, and that is the biggest bang for the buck?
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks,
Jim
