Jim,

I wonder if there is a high mileage (diesel??) small car or truck out there that can pull a 2000 lb trailer. You will get a good mileage every day going to work. During the weekend, you won't get a good mileage (unless is a diesel) but you get the advantage of having a trailer to hold all your planes. Maybe the combination of small/light trailer could be a good solution.

Good luck,

Hi Guys,

I commute about 75 miles a day, then do about 100 miles of driving a weekend for practice so I am on the road a lot. I am thinking to down sizing one of my cars. At this point, I’m thinking about these three:

Scion XB, 28, hwy mileage
Honda Fit, 34, hwy mileage
Chevy HHR, 30 , hwy mileage
$ these around $16,000

Here is a nice website that allows you to do car by car comparisons. http://scionbuyersguide.theautochannel.com/compare_details.php?car1=21667&car2=22687&car3=22711&car4=

OR – is something like the Dodge Grand Caravan the way do go, and that is the biggest bang for the buck?

Any ideas would be great.
Thanks,
Jim
