[NSRCA-discussion] header help

The nmp header breaks!!!!! I have 5 sitting in my crap drawer, all had
the brace!!! Not everyone has problems with them but I sure did. I think
the problem with the header is the tubing is to thin, when bent tubing
stretches, it ends up to thin and eventually breaks in the radius of the
bend. The cure could be a thicker wall tubing not a brace. The brace is
a crutch for the underlying problem. My advice is if you are going to
use one buy a spare!!!

Wow,

That is the same 90's header I am running on my 140L. I am also looking
for a new header for when it fails and when I get a second plane in the
air. Did your friend have the header brace on when the failure
happened? I am using the header brace and it seems to hold up very
well.
