John's comments caused me to project my coffee from my mouth to the
computer monitor screen in a fit of laughter! Since everything in this room is
traveling through space at the same speed, there was no yaw or track correction
required to hit the screen. I think I found a "kinda - sorta" simple analogy for those
who still might not see the "airplanes don't yaw in a crosswind" side. Like Ron
said about a giant moving the pool in which you're swimming, or someone else
mentioned a fly, flying in a moving airplane. A fly, flying from the back window
of your car to the front window. It flies a in straight line relative to the inside
of the car. If the car is making a "U" turn at that time, it flies in a U shape
relative to the ground outside of the car.
                     RJO

Just a thought, does a hangover induce yaw, or heading deviation...
       I need more coffee.
