I think P factor is when the prop shaft is pointed in one direction and the incoming freestream is different causing the prop blades to be at different angles of attack - creating a yaw force.
An example of an extreme P situation would be powering up on an aborted carrier landing for a go around.
I have argued that P factor does not exist due to induced flow. I have been told my view is incorrect.
With the typical taildragger P factor should cause the airplane to turn left before the tail comes up - I think.
