Pilots have some saying that when you depart from established
procedures for an aircraft, you have just volunteered to be
a test pilot.  :-O

Yes.

Holland had a reputation for aggressive, low, dangerous
maneuvers in the B-52.  Many refused to fly with him.
His superior officer tried to reign him in and was flying
in the right seat during the last flight.  So sad!
