My personal choice is prescrip sunglasses in gray tint on standard frames.  I use them for everything, car driving, etc, and flying.  I don't like polarized cause of odd appearance and difficulty of reading some TX screens, and dash instruments
in car, radio, etc.  On windy days I add side blocking wind shields.
