[NSRCA-discussion] SUBJECT CHANGE... AILERON DIFFERENTIAL

For some reason, in all my pattern planes I finish with one degree more up than down in ailerons. That has been almost a rule. Well, probably this is the reason why I never get 10 in the slow rolls.

Regards,

One way to determine if it needs differential is if you do an aileron roll ,and it kind of does a little barrel roll in the roll then it needs alittle. Really Brett Wickizer helped me set mine up because mine needed alittle bit from doing that exact thing.

Triming question...

What is the best way to determine if your plane needs aileron differential and ways of correcting it. Does CG effect differential, lowering or raising of the ailerons, stab height, dihedral effect it and so on?
