[NSRCA-discussion] Judging question on turnaround maneuvers

It seems that you could gain or lose altitude in the turnaround by using an
unchanged loop radius, and shortening or lengthening the 45 degree line -
and as Terry and others have all said, the 1/2 roll is still centered on
that 45 line, regardless of how long it is.
Of course the 45 must be long enough to establish the line, then 1/2 roll,
then re-establish the line, then pull ... which means the loop radius must
be big enough in the first place to support that 45 degree line and all that
has to happen on it.

The 1/2 roll should be in the middle of the line!! You make the altitude
adj by varying the size of the loop segment.
