My motor mount screws in my Poland plane were titanium. Most of the other screws were aluminum. Now they're all steel (to lazy to search for them). Oh yea, where do I find the aluminum servo screws in a #3 size? Might go all out this year.

Adam, Earl – thank you for the links.
Jimbo – I want to use 8-32” titanium screws for the 10 control horns on a 42% plane. They are typically SS and around 2-2.5” long each. I was guessing that I could save about 8 oz or more or so by switching from SS to Ti (about 55% - 60% weight savings right??). While on the site, I figured I’d see about other sizes too.

Hi Guys,
Does anyone have a nice/cheap source of titanium screws? I checked with United Titanium for 4-40, 6/32, and 8/32 screws. Because they were machined screws, the price was $6.00 - $8.00 per fastener.
Thanks,
Jim W.
