[NSRCA-discussion] 150 meters out with google earth

I found something in google earth that some may find useful. Locate your 
flying field in google earth then click on tools, then ruler, a box will 
come up and lets you set measurements, so set to  meters, as you move over 
the map the cursor will turn into a crosshair click once and you'll see a 
green square move the cursor till the readout says 150 and perpendicular to 
the flight line, you now have a reference to the 150 out box, look for 
landmarks and you have a solid mark to fly to. Do another one to 175 meters 
and you now have landmark for how far out you are.
This surprised me a little as my stepping off was short.
Oh print out for reference when your at your field.
