Ron,
I've burnt my fingers on a hot motor, shorted LiPo etc this year. Don't ask
how.
So, I have the Micro E-logger with LCD panel to go on for any dumb things
that I may do..:P
IP.

And if you sit on a hot stove, it'll burn too.
You need to monitor the current draw every time you make a prop or battery
change. I have seen pilots change from one brand of battery to another,
presumably identical, battery from another manufacturer and burn up the
motor and speed control. Why? The second brand of battery had lower internal
resistance.

Depends on motor and prop selection...
If you are pulling appx 70 amps with your planned setup... good.
If you are pulling 150 amps... it'll burn.

Hi, All,
I am trying to find out if the Castle Creations' Phoenix 85HV will be enough
if used for 2m plane with TP 5000 Extreme or FP5350 10S packs. Motor will be
one of the current ones such as Axi, Hacker, Plettenberg, Neu, or E-Flite.
How much do your E-setup pull?
thanks,
Ihncheol
