[NSRCA-discussion] Proposed Masters Sequence for 2009/2010

I don¹t fly masters, and I¹m on the contest board...so I don¹t want to
comment on the flow or difficulty of the sequence, I only want to comment
that one of the things happening in FAI is a shortening of the sequences
which I think the Masters group aught to consider as well. Two main
benefits... Reduced flight time allows a more balanced contest schedule with
the other classes and facilitates getting more rounds in with more people
and less chaos. The other benefit is it helps to reduce the current weight
disparity between electrics and glow by reducing the flight time, and thus
the capacity required to complete the sequence. (I.e. You can use smaller
battery packs).
Just something to think about...all it would take is removing a few
maneuvers...not a complete redesign.
