Robert,
The ones on my Genesis are fine. I saw Doc and there was some speculation that his elevator may have been bumped before the flight when they got stripped. I'm sure you already know it, but the SA servos are a combo of metal and nylon gears.

I got home from the NATS on Sunday and realized that I had stripped a 3421 SA metal gear servo on my elevator. I imagine is was because of the really windy conditions on thursday and friday. I know that it happened to one other flier "Doc" from Chicago. Did this happen to anyone else while flying at the NATS?
