Those weren't the words he used and that wasn't the impression
I got from what he said.

He seemed to think that we were on a new site.  That's
false.

I've spent on the order of sixty hours in the last
couple of weeks working toward that goal.  Care to
help?  The call for volunteers has been on the web
page for quite a while now ...

and the front page today if you wish, and then you
