I like it too.  My club (Eglin Aero Modellers) has small "membership  
paid 200X" stickers made up each year that we stick to the front of  
the AMA card.  Since we have a frequency board that we put our AMA  
cards on, a glance will tell what frequency a pilot is on and whether  
he's paid up with AMA and the club.
