If the 120 can be made to fly well, it would be a good choice as an entry plane just by virtue of price alone...

  Its so heavy and the wing so big it won the NATS in Masters class 2 years 
  ago. The Zen is a good model.

  I had a Zen 120 and its a decent model. Of course its not a top of the line 
  model but it can be trimmed and tweaked to fly well. My preference is for it 
  over many of the models out there that are aimed at beginners.
