[NSRCA-discussion] Wing adjuster socket material

Anthony,

Replacing a wing, eh? I have been successful in two ways. The absolute
easiest is to drill out a short length of dowel to the right size. A
lighter version of this is to make a "super dowel" by stacking lite ply and
drilling. Having the grain cross makes it harder. Another approach is to
find a rod of the same diameter, wrap it with waxed paper and then spiral
wrap with 2-4 oz fiberglass that is occasionally dripped with CA (making a
fiberglass tube). the tube is sliced up to length.

All these ideas I have done and work well.
