[NSRCA-discussion] Small Models ... good for the futureofthePattern Event?

If the wings go on with a wing tube... you can ballast it with lead shot. A
couple of EPP plugs to keep the shot centered (epp will compress easy enough
but not tle the shot move in flight)

The wing tubes tend to be on CG... and this method is essentially what is
used for varying the sailplane weight in one competition class (they don't
use anything to keep the shot form moving in the tube... but accurate
aerobatics are not required... The shot tends to self level in level flight
so it doesn't bother trim enough to matter)

You can also put a metal cigar tube in any plane on the CG.... Lead shot
holder with a screw-on cap.
