One more thing...Don't the Japanese run 30,50 and 90 size...then FAI class. I know there is some discussion down here about following what the Japanese do. It may never happen , but I find this interesting. It seems to work for them.

You are right,I saw it all, but working harder can also discourage a new
pattern pilot. Let's face it newbies need help no matter what size or what
plane they fly. I think downsizing has run its course.
