I think it was "I think about what I want the airplane to do and try and
make it do it..." I wish it how you said it Ron, that would make my job so
much easier...lol. Good night

I've got to share what Jason told me a few months ago. He can chime in to
correct me or expand on it if he wants.

I asked Jason what he thought about while he was flying. He asked me what
I meant. I said that I wondered whether he thought about which controls to
move, when and by how much. He responded something like, "I just think
about what I want the airplane to do and it does it."

  That's a planet I've never been on.

    I have to echo Mark's comments . . . . . a celebrity presence does so
much to encourage newcomers. They can see you are regular guys (who just
happen to fly the snot out of RC airplanes)

Lol…good point. Needless to say I’m kidding. Actually, I think most
would agree with me, that of the all the top tier pilots, you and Andrew
make the most effort to get to local events, and it’s very appreciated.

Yep, Jim Walker definitely counts as a one-up. This was at a
contest, wasn't it?

Now you've got my memory banks stoked. How long ago did you watch a
famous pilot fly in a contest? I watched Ed Kazmirski fly a Taurus in
Dayton, OH contest in 1964. I also watched Pappy deBolt fly the same year.
In subsequent years I watched Tom Brett, Phil Kraft and Cliff Weirick.
