No wonder it's hard to get a good score on a snap-roll! Heck, most judges can barely see everything when they're paying attention!

"Behind the times" might be a good thing. I've heard of an instance, at a major contest, where a pilot took off and shortly thereafter he heard a cell phone ring. It belonged to one of the judges. The judge answered the phone, and talked on the phone THE WHOLE FLIGHT while he was judging.
Would anyone be justified in having that judges scores thrown out for the whole round? How can he maintain a consistent judging standard through the whole round?
BTW, this was IMAC, not pattern.
