[NSRCA-discussion] More flexibility in class selection?

Fred,

If you think the rules are wrong, submit a change to the AMA. The way I see
it Masters is the end of the road unless you want to fly FAI and that is a
choice you get to make.

Everyone has limitations. Let us say for the sake of argument that you,
Fred, decided to stay in advanced for the rest of your life because you won
every contest in that class and liked getting the trophies. Don't you think
that someone would move up and beat you on their way to Masters?

My point is no one is unbeatable. There is always someone out there better
or willing to practice harder in order to get better.

As for Arch sandbagging, I had to calm down before writing a response. Arch
is a good friend of mine and helped me tremendously when I decided to get
into pattern (I still suck but that is my doing not his). He is very
competitive and I would imagine not like to win by default. He spends a lot
of time prcticing to maintain a competitive edge; you would have to in order
to make the Masters finals. Not to mention he will lend you anything you
need to finish a contest including his plane.
