  my statement was tongue in cheek. Of course the current rules make an exception for Masters.What I didn't know was that FAI is an Official AMA Class. I assumed it wasn't because we have to go to a separate rulebook to figure out how to fly it. As an AMA class it becomes even harder to justify the advancement exception.
