[NSRCA-discussion] 160Dz question

On a broken in 160DZ, my pump is out (leaner) about 1/2-3/4 turn from flush, main needle should like to be 1-1/2 to 1-3/4 turns out.

An APC 17X10 is on the light side for this engine, I use the 18.1X10, a very good combination.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] 160Dz question

Hey everyone. Asking for a friend. We are having problems getting his pump set properly.

Few specifics:

Cool Power 30% heli fuel, Tetra tank, new plumbing, YS foam clunk, APC 17X10 prop, 3500 ft altitude.

On up lines it would sag occasionally, but otherwise ran great (working on the Masters sequence) Turned in (richened up) the pump a tad, better then one more time and the vertical sag stopped, but doing the outside 6sided loop in Advanced, with the bottom of the push, the engine spits and sputters terribly. Strangely, not on any outside pushes in Masters, just this one manuever.

Anythoughts???

Thanx in advance.
