[NSRCA-discussion] Futaba Servo question

Robert,

I wouldn't use the 9155's all the way around. They are great for the
rudder, but they are metal geared so they will tend to develop more slop
over the course of a season. I really like the 9254 heli servo for the
elevator if running one, only 50+ oz torque, but lightning fast and
centering is incredible. Had no failures with that setup over 2 years.
9650's are great for the elevators if running 2 servos. I run the 9154's on
the ailerons, or 9151's if the holes are cut for standard servos.

Hope this helps,

Arch Stafford

What digital Futaba servo do you use in your planes? Am I looking at the
S9155 for everything except maybe throttle?

My son (Matt) and I will be there every day. I'll try to look you up on
Friday.
