First thing I would do is switch over to regular Cool Power.    Omega has
castor oil and it can gum up or varnish in the engine.  You will have a bear
of a time getting the rod to slide on the piston wrist pin because of the
castor gumming up on the pin.  The regular Cool Power uses synthetic and
does not gum up on any of the parts.

The pipe length sounds about right.  But one inch short and it will run fat
in the midrange.  Try a little longer and switcging to Cool Power 15% or
20/20 blend
