[NSRCA-discussion] Speaking of cool glues...

Think of the 'Dremel' tool costs you could save as well <G>- and at least my dentist, has at best, a 'questionable' hiring policy regarding his rather attractive assistants!

Building at the Dentist's could be almost a 'pleasure'!! <VBG>

You could build your plane in your dentist's office. . .

OK, at second glance, I guess this isn't so reasonable for our use. The Hand Held LED Light Source sells for $895!

YOWSA!!!

I haven't found a price for the glues yet.

Surely there's an alternative solution for the light source.

I was at my son's orthodontist yesterday and he showed me the glue they use to attach brackets to teeth. It's a waxy looking one part glue that's light activated. This allows the orthodontist plenty of time to apply the glue and place the bracket in place, then they shine an intense light on it and it hardens. There's no mixing of multiple parts, no rush to get it in place before it hardens, no running, sticking to the fingers, etc.

After searching the Internet I found that loctite has a product called "FlashCure" that's a light activated CA!!!

Anyone know if there are additional light activated glues that may be useful in model building?
