RE: [NSRCA-discussion] Masters 2007 Figure "M" question - verticalsegmentsThe 9C for helis is a 9CHP and the airplane version is a 9CAP. The main difference in the 2 versions is the "default" programming, each to it's designated version. Both have the ability to fly helis and airplanes.

I could be wrong in this info, but this is the way I understand it.

BTW: I fly a 9CAP.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Heli vs. Aircraft radio question

This question is w.r.t. the Futaba 9 CAP for helis and airplanes, but I am also interested in other radios as well. I am looking at picking up a radio from another club member, and was told the heli version of the 9 CAP and the airplane version of the 9 CAP are different, program wise, only in that the heli version contains both heli and airplane programs and the airplane version only contains airplane programs. Is this true for us pattern guys who use lots of mixes, expo, flight conditions, etc????

I have not flown a heli, but isn't there also a difference w.r.t. the sticks?
