Yes, I spent a lot of time making sure everything was perfect before I 
drilled
the mounting holes,  it looked so nice and pretty, perfectly square and 
straight.

Then I installed the pipe!!!   Sometimes I want to kick myself...

I forgot that the pipe would stick way off the side becouse of the right 
thrust
built into the firewall!   I had to slot the holes and rotate the motor 
mount
so the end of the pipe would be at the the center of the pipe tunnel.

But good news is that even with only 2 of the motor mount bolts tight it is
rock solid. The firwall is cross grain balsa with carbon fiber on each side.
I did notice that even the stiff type A Hyde mount flexed a good bit so I
decided to build a nose ring.   After about 20 dry fittings the nose ring
mounting ring is glued into the plane and everything looks good to go.

I did notice that the engine needed a little down thrust to be square to 
the
nose of the aircraft.  I added some 1/16" aircraft ply to the back of 
the motor
mount and sanded it from 0 to 1/16" across the back of the mount.  That was
just the right amount.
