I've done quite a bit of aluminuim welding in my career and the most important thing is to clean good with wire brush this not only applies to durafix but any alumium welding, I have taught many the difference between good and bad welding. Any oil or paint or even dust can make for a bad weld.

This product has been around at least 15 years. I saw it demonstrated at a Home and Garden show in Denver, immediately bought a supply. However, unlike the demos I watched, I couldn't seem to pick up the knack of getting it to flow and bridge correctly. Maybe others (more talented than I) can get this to work consistently.

Anyone else tried Durafix? What were your experiences?

Don
