Both of my use a combo of the thin Sig CA hinges...and Monokote.  Zero
issues.  The thin paper CA hinges are extremely strong and work well for the
top hinging.  But I think you would have no problem JUST using Monokote.  I
have always used Clear monokote to seal gaps anyway...this was just an
extension of the color scheme.  Never had the monokote tear away or split.
